Shoshone River Farm (SRF) started in the spring of 2010. We are a bio-intensive farm with 9 high tunnels (unheated greenhouses) and two heated greenhouses. The farm provides vegetables to Red Lodge, Casper, Cody, and Powell, supplying four farmers markets, several restaurants, and two CSA’s.

We produce our own compost on our farm to naturally fertilize. We use organic pesticides or herbicides in our growing areas only when absolutely necessary. By limiting our use of even organic pesticides and utilizing soil building techniques, we are encouraging a balance of all life. We utilize companion planting and crop rotation to insure we stay ahead of weeds and disease.
