About Us
About our Farm
Jackstone Creek Farmstead is a small-but-mighty farm outside of Absarokee, MT specializing in heritage pastured pork. Our Meishan pigs are lovingly raised on pasture, and are free to roam throughout their life. We feed our Meishans a Montana-grown, corn- and soy-free grain mix which creates both a healthier pork and a truly refined taste. You won’t just love the texture and flavor—you’ll also have peace of mind knowing your meat was raised sustainably and ethically, with a focus on animal welfare, environmental health, and quality of life.

About Us
We are Carla and Ben Nordlund, co-owners of Jackstone Creek Farmstead. We are proud to have our deep roots in the area – Carla is fifth generation in Stillwater County and we are raising the sixth in our home community of Absarokee. Carla grew up on a cattle ranch, but Ben is a first-generation farmer. We began raising livestock for personal use in 2014, and fell in love with raising pigs. When the opportunity arose to move back to Absarokee, we leaped at the chance to fully return to our home valley and launch our farm, bringing in our foundation Meishan herd from Oregon and building our farm infrastructure literally from the ground up.
