Siersma Family Farms is a small, beginning family farm located in Shepherd, MT. Currently, we raise a small flock of chickens for eggs. Our long-term goal is to expand the flock and begin dairy farming. We would then produce our own dairy products such as ice cream and cheese.

We are committed to farming practices that improve our land. Our chickens are rotated through our pastures in a chicken tractor. We do not use any chemicals for fertilization or pest control on our pastures. The chickens provide the pest control and fertilization as they are rotated. We also spread our composted horse manure.

The chickens are fed certified organic feed along with all the bugs and fresh grass they can eat. They are constantly spoiled and loved. Our large, farm fresh eggs are loaded with nutrients and are various shades of brown.
